Terms of Service
The terms and conditions governing your use of the MenuHall platform.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using MenuHall (“Service”), operated by LeapLane Lda (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Two types of users
These Terms apply to both Establishment owners (restaurants, cafes, bars using the dashboard) and End Users (customers scanning QR codes to browse menus and place orders).
2. Description of Service
MenuHall is a platform that provides restaurants, cafes, and bars (“Establishments”) with digital menus accessible via QR codes. Customers of these establishments (“End Users”) can browse menus and place orders through the platform.
The Service includes: a restaurant dashboard for managing menus, tables, and orders; a customer-facing digital menu accessible via QR code; and real-time order communication between customers and establishments.
3. Accounts
Establishment owners must create an account to use the dashboard. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration.
End Users do not need to create an account. No personal information is required from customers to browse menus or place orders.
4. Establishment Responsibilities
- •You are responsible for the accuracy of your menu content, including item names, descriptions, prices, and allergen information.
- •You must ensure your menu complies with local food labeling and consumer protection laws.
- •You grant MenuHall a non-exclusive license to display your menu content, images, and branding on the platform for the purpose of providing the Service.
- •You are responsible for managing orders received through the platform and for all interactions with your customers.
5. Orders
MenuHall facilitates order communication between End Users and Establishments. We are not a party to any transaction between them. The Establishment is solely responsible for fulfilling orders.
Payment handling
MenuHall does not process customer payments. All payments for food and beverages are handled directly between the End User and the Establishment at the table, as usual.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Access to MenuHall for Establishments requires a paid subscription. Billing is handled through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to the recurring charges for your selected plan.
- •You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- •We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will not be affected until renewal.
- •Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you are entitled to a refund.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- •Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- •Upload content that is offensive, misleading, or infringes on third-party rights.
- •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
- •Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- •Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
8. Intellectual Property
The MenuHall platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by LeapLane Lda. All rights reserved.
Establishment content (menus, images, logos) remains the property of the respective Establishment. You retain all rights to your content.
9. Limitation of Liability
Important
MenuHall is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with reasonable notice where possible. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
Upon termination, your menu data will be retained for 30 days to allow for data export, after which it will be permanently deleted. Your customer-facing menu will be taken offline immediately.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
